自主製作の近未来SFアクション「SLUM-POLIS」が話題となった二宮健監督が、映画における「演出とは？」をテーマに、映画監督を本人役で登場させるなど虚実を交えて描いいた。無名の俳優である松本ファイターは自分の演技力を世の中に伝えたいという思いで、松永大司監督の新作映画オーディションに無理やり参加する。しかし、そこで彼を待ち受けていたのは、思い描いていた称賛の声などではなく、あまりにも厳しい現実だった。現実と虚構が入り交じり、芝居という固定概念が壊れていく。「SLUM-POLIS」にも出演した松本ファイター、「青空エール」の松本穂香のほか、「トイレのピエタ」の松永大司監督、「合葬」の小林達夫監督、「ディアーディアー」の菊地健雄監督が本人役で出演。
